...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 1 PM CDT FRIDAY...

 

* WHAT...Southwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected. The winds will switch to the west-northwest after Midnight, when there could be even higher gusts.

 

* WHERE...In Iowa, Iowa, Johnson, Henry IA, Jefferson, Keokuk, Van Buren, and Washington Counties. In Missouri, Scotland County.

 

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 1 PM CDT Friday.

 

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

 

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
